TENGA at Japan Expo 2023
This marks the third time we were in Paris, and what a time it was!
As far back as 2019 we made our first appearance at Japan Expo in Paris, the biggest gathering in France for everyone who loves all things Japan: manga, anime, food, traditional clothes and cultural traditions are all there! In 2023 we came back, bigger and better than ever before.
The TENGA Booth
We set up our booth along one of the main paths in the exhibition hall, displaying some of our most popular items, as well as showing off our newest product series, such as the TENGA Bobble, the iroha mai and the iroha SVR!
We also sold special TENGA and iroha Lucky Bags, filled with products and merchandise, all for a special low price for visitors to Japan Expo. Posters adorning the booth had a spcial QR code to get discounts on TENGA STORE FRANCE, with even bigger discounts if you subscribed to our newsletter. We also had a few extra special surprises for our fans!
This year, we brought along a TENGA Gacha machine, where you buy special coins from the counter, put them into the machine and turn the handle, and out pops your prize! Each one contained a TENGA EGG and a bonus, ranging from TENGA CUPs all the way to TENGA ROBO plastic models.
There was always a line of people wanting to test their luck with this, some coming back again and again to get the whole ROBO collection!
Introducing the TENGA ROBO
We also had a very special guest with us… the TENGA ROBO! This happy little guy flew all the way from Japan to help out at the booth, take photos with fans, and join in events.
Fans came to greet him and take pictures, but the biggest draw was the Janken (rock scissors paper) tournament that you could take part in 3 times a day! If you won against the ROBO, you got special Japan Expo exclusive goodies. The lines of people waiting ended up being very long!
Even if you didn’t win, you still got a polaroid picture together with the TENGA ROBO to remember the occasion.
When free, the TENGA ROBO walked around the exhibition halls, greeting people and taking pictures. Such a fun and photogenic guy!
Next Time
